Most of the visitors to this page will know all this, but there are people who think deer should be left to their own devices, and reproduce unchecked. So here, in a nutshell are my thoughts.
Deer are a prey species; their purpose is to provide food for a predator. They have no natural predators in the UK, so that’s where we come in. We put the balance back Simple really. Of course there is a lot more to it than that, but for starters, that should do you. And for a main course it’s quite nice too.

Deer have a place in the ecosystem, but it is not as decoration. Beautiful as they are, nature has created a role for them and that is to be eaten. They know it; that’s why they run when they see a predator.
